LDK accused of intent to establish Belgrade-dependent Kosovo government

Arberie Nagavzi, a member of the Presidium of the party of the current acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated on 27 April that former partners of Self-Determination in the ruling coalition from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) were trying to form a new Kosovo government dependent on Belgrade by illegal means. According to Albanian news agency Telegrafi, speaking to journalists, Nagawzi noted that President Hashim Tachi, who had sent five open letters to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, had not yet put out a letter sent to the public by the LDC proposing a mandate to form a government. Nagawzi said the reason is that the LDC and Tachi are trying to find a way to create a new government in an unconstitutional way. We remind that Tachi offered the LDK a mandate to form the government of Kosovo. The LDC nominated Avdullah Hoti as Prime Minister. His government should also include ministers from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, and the Social Democratic Initiative (Nisma), Fatmir Limay.
