Saudis extend Yemen ceasefire
A coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced an extension of the ceasefire in Yemen for a month, according to Reuters on April 24. A spokesman for the Turki al-Maliki coalition said the command hoped to reach a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire. According to the news agency, a ceasefire entered into force in Yemen on 9 April. The truce is periodically violated, but there is no large-scale fighting. Read also:
