WHO: coronavirus hit more than 10 million people around the world

Worldwide, more than 10.3 million cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus have been confirmed, more than 508 thousand people have died. Such data are provided by the World Health Organization (WHO). As of 19:08 Moscow time on July 1, 10,357,662 people were struck by coronavirus in the world. At the same time, more than 2.57 million cases were reported in the United States, almost 1.37 million in Brazil. The entire American region accounts for almost 5.22 million infections, the European region accounts for almost 2.73 million. 508 thousand 55 people with detected coronavirus infection died around the world. According to the news agency, as of July 1, there were 654,405 reported cases of infection in Russia, while 422,931 people recovered, 9,536 people died.
