Japan ordered 120 million doses of SARS-CoV-2 vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech

Japan has officially announced that it will purchase 120 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine from the US pharmaceutical corporation Pfizer Inc. and its partner from Germany BioNTech SE, NHK news agency reported. The 120 million doses of the vaccine developed by these companies are intended for 60 million people, since two doses are relied on per patient.
