More than 30 organizations from China were blacklisted by U.S. authorities
More than 30 organizations from China were blacklisted by the United States Department of Commerce. This was reported on May 22 by the press service of the American department. 24 government and commercial organizations from China were blacklisted for involvement in activities that run counter to U.S. national security interests and foreign policy. Legal entities on the list are based in China, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands. In addition, nine other organizations were listed for involvement, according to the U.S. government, in human rights violations in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region of the PRC. Earlier, the news agency reported on the escalation of the trade war between China and the United States against the background of the coronavirus pandemic.
