Afghan authorities accuse Taliban of disrupting political settlement


Afghan authorities accused the Taliban movement (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) of undermining the political settlement process, Reuters reported on June 23. Recent attacks by terrorist groups have damaged the peace process, and they deserve condemnation, Afghan presidential spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said at a press conference. Sediqqi noted that the actions of militants who resumed attacks on the military after Ramadan and the holiday of Eid al-Fitr are incompatible with their rhetoric about peace. Read also:
